ASCER has celebrated in 2021 the 20th edition of the Tile of Spain Awards. The Tile of Spain Awards are intended to promote the use of Spanish ceramic tiles in architecture as well as interior design projects (both in Spain and abroad). The Awards have a prize fund of 35,000 euros distributed in three categories.
Architecture: 15,000 euros
Interior design: 15,000 euros
Final Degree Project: 5,000 euros
The award for architecture went to a project for the new headquarters of the Valencia Construction Sector Employment Foundation by MRM Architects' Studio. The winner in the interior design category was "Living in a Coderch" by Estudio Vilablanch. In the end-of-degree project category, the prize was awarded to "Castilla La MaRcha". A resort for Motivated Spain", a project by Gonzalo López Elorriaga (Madrid School of Architecture)
